“Red Flower” by Hugh Dutton
Date: 23 March - 25 March 2017
Location : HONG KONG

Designed by British architect Hugh Dutton, Red Flower was a lounge installation that provided an elegant sanctuary through a symbolic and sculptural representation of a red flower. While the space was welcoming and open, it featured a canopy of floating ribbons that worked spatially to create a virtual enclosure, and an intimate and relaxing space for visitors.

"The Floating Ribbon" by Hugh Dutton
Date: 23 March - 26 March 2016
Location : HONG KONG

British architect Hugh Dutton created an original installation to house Swire Properties’ VIP Lounge at Art Basel Hong Kong 2016. The Floating Ribbon echoed his groundbreaking Climate Ribbon™at Swire Properties’ Brickell City Centre, Miami, Florida. Dutton suspended a floating ribbon of translucent fabric in a figure of eight, stretched on a lightweight frame, to resemble infinity and continuity and reflect the Company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
